DESCRIPTION
Magna-Crete is a unique, high perfomance, two component, repid setting, high-early strength, magnesium polyphosphate based concrete repair and grouting system for both interior and exterior application. Magna-Crete is not mixed with water and therefore, can be used horizontally vertically or overhead ; can be applied with hand tools or via shotcreting from temperatures of - 15¡ÆC o + 130¡ÆC (22.5¡ÆC to 54.5¡ÆC ) and is ready for return of rubber wheeled traffic in less than one hour.

YIELD AND RATE OF APPLICATION

A 5 gal. (19liter) unit of Magna-Crete consising of 50 lbs. (22.7kg)powder ingredient and 1 gal. (3.79 litter) of liquid activator will yield approximately. 45ft©ø(0.014m©ø) or 24ft©ø (2.23§³ )at ¨ù" (6§® in thickness. A 1gal. (3.79 litter) unit of Magna-Crete consisting of 10 lbs. (4.54§¸ powder ingredient and 1/5gal. (0.75 litter) of liquid activator will yield approximately 0.1ft©ø (0.003m©ø) or 4.8ft©÷ (0.45§³) at ¨ù" (6§®) in thickness.

EXTENDING MAGNA - CRETE

For applications greater than 2" (5.0cm) thick, add up to 50 lbs. (22.7kg) of clean, washed, dry, 3/8" (9mm) pea gravel per 50 lbs. (22.7kg) of Magna- Crete or, 10 lbs. (4.57kg) of clean, washed, dry 3/8"(9mm) pea gravel per 10 lbs. (4.57kg) of Magna-Crete.

CURING
Magna - Crete is self curing. DO NOT cure with water, burlap, rags, polyethylene or membrane curing compounds.

PACKAGING

Magna - Crete is packaged in 5 gal. (19 liter)and 1 gal. (3.19 liter) plastic mixing pails. The liquid activator is packaged in 1 gal (3.79 litter) and 1/5gal. (0.75 liter) jugs INSIDE THE MIXING PAILS.

PRECAUTIONS
DO NOT ADD WATER TO THIS PRODUCT!


DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT for grouting prestressed and/or post - tensioned cables, rods or anchorages stressed over 80,000 psi (55 2MPa).
DO NOT store Magna- Crete in direct sunlight.
Keep Magna-Crete in component ingredients dry.


Keep an adequate supply of water on hand to wash mixer and tools before set begins(+/- 12 min.@70¡ÆC21¡ÆC)


Vertical and overhead applications should be limited to filling of voids and not as an architectural surface repair
Use good concreting practies and precautions with Magna-Crete.


Workers should protect themselves against 120¡Æ to 130¡ÆF(49¡Æ to 55¡ÆC) heat developed by magnesia-liquid reaction.
Avoid eye contact and prologed contact with skin.


May cause irritation to sensitive skin. As with portland cement based products, workers are advised to be tested for possible sensiticity to Magna - Crete liquid and dry ingredients.


Due to the slight amount of free ammonia which will be released during reaction, venting of inddor work areas may be required.

A.P.S., Inc strongly urges the user to request the free services of the local Magna-Crete representative for a prejob conference and to "service" the project by providinf application suggestions and answering questions during product use. These suggestions may be followed, modified or rejected by the owner, engineer, contractor or their representatives. However, a Magna- Crete agent's presence should not A.P.S., Inc. are responsible for determining the suitabillity of the product for the intended use as well as planning and executing procedures appropriate to any specific application.

WARRANTY

A.P.S., Inc. warrants only that this product meets the quality and technical standards noted in its current product literature A.P.S., Inc. cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside its control including, but not limited ti : other materials, product handing, product strage or use of the product. A.P.S., Inc. will provide sufficient product to replace any which is proven, by accepted industryl standard testing methods, to have manufacturing defects. Such product replacement shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy for any claim under this warranty. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranyies, expressed, ilplied or statutory and is strictly limited to its terms.
